Acer Aspire X3 and Aspire M3 Compact Desktop PC

Acer release 2 new compact desktop PC called Acer Aspire X3 and Aspire M3 Series. Both are clearly desktop PC’s, however the X3 is space-saving chassis while the M3 is described as having microtower.

Acer Aspire X3 desktop is powered by choice of AMD Athlon II, AMD Phenom II, Intel Core i3 or Intel Pentium E6600 processor, up to 4GB of memory, either NVIDIA GeForce 9200 or Intel GMA HD graphics accelerator. It is a small form factor (SFF) desktop PC. The Aspire X3 has brings HDMI output, an open PCI Express x16 slot, up to 11 USB 2.0 ports, and a PCI Express x1 slot (some models).

The Acer Aspire M3 is a microtower powered by choice of AMD Athlon II or AMD Phenom II CPU and ATI HD 5450 or NVIDIA GeForce 9200 graphics. It gets up to 640GB hard drive. There is also room for expansion with two available PCI Express x1 slots, an open PCI Express slot and bays for an extra optical drive and hard drive.

And best of all is that these new systems will have low low starting prices of $449.99. The new desktops come in a sleek, black design with an illuminated blue power button, an attractive touch that ensures it can be found even in a dark cabinet.
